These talks and workshops are designed in three key categories of Awareness, Play, and Strategy. They range from one to four hours depending on your needs. Happy to design the content based on learning outcomes.
Showing Up With Confidence - PLAY
Confidence is fundamental to being taken seriously, whether we are pitching an idea, applying for a promotion, or leading a team. If repeated, lacking confidence leads to imposter experiences. As someone who used to have a 10-year long stutter, I resonate with this topic deeply.
This workshop will unhinge our preconceptions and nurture an authentic way to show up with confidence:
Leverage the psychology of what inhibits us in the moment
Find your own unique style to shut down self doubt and imposter syndrome
Practice tested body language and voice techniques to show up online and in-person
CONNECT WITH BREATH -AWARENESS
As our world grows, so does our stress and anxiety. How do we arm ourselves with tools to conquer stressful events in the moment while controlling the controllables?
By understanding the science of our physiology combined with the workings of our mind AKA psychoneuroimmunology, we will leave with a clear strategy to bring ourselves back to equilibrium whenever we stray.
This workshop includes reflective exercises and games to unlock:
The power of conscious breath
Awareness of our habits to fuel strong and positive mental health
A focused action plan to practice connecting with ourselves and thrive in any environment
Comfortable Being Uncomfortable - Play
Who we are today is a learned behaviour. Our cortex brain enjoys protecting us through rational reasoning, while our emotional brain uses fight or flight to stay away from the unknown. To avoid predictable results, we need to embrace discomfort and approach situations in new ways.
This workshop will channel our beginner’s mind through play to welcome a safe space of learning, unlearning, and relearning:
Build trust through sharing discomfort of spontaneous play
Practice presence through a popular improvisational technique, "yes, and"
Strengthen bonds to encourage new ideas and unconventional thinking
POSITIVE SELF TALK - AWARENESS
Loneliness is a growing emotion amongst our newest generation. Meanwhile, solitude is a positive space for introspection and creativity. How do we share this insight with today’s young minds?
Most often, the biggest difference in our lives is achieved from the small changes we make everyday.
This interactive workshop shifts the mindset around “being alone” by:
Learning how to cultivate a relationship with oneself
Reframing our language around our self image and how we show up
Finding positive, uplifting behaviours to replace negative, spiralling behaviours
UNLEARNING FEAR - AWARENESS
Fear of failure is the number one reason we hold ourselves back. It is rooted in the belief that we are not good enough.
Growing up, I had a stutter for ten years. It manifested in front of crowds, strangers, and people of authority. Now, without a stutter, I share the actionable steps on how anyone can replicate the success and overcome their fears.
This talk will inspire action through:
The simple 4-step unlearning process
Choosing beliefs that empower and slowly challenge us beyond our comfort zone
Learning that dreams are achievable by building awareness and consistent action
HABITS TO YOU 2.0 - STRATEGY
The Greats in any field share one thing in common: great habits. As the saying goes, we don’t rise to the level of our goals; we fall to the level of our habit systems. To achieve growth in our careers, we must equip ourselves with the right systems.
This session goes into the depths of habit building, where we learn how to:
Articulate our habits effectively so that we eliminate loop holes and succeed at execution
Leverage the “two minute rule” and positively reinforce ourselves for action
Become masters of consistency through keystone habits and stacking
Other session topics include: Collaboration, Creativity, Empathy, Growth & Innovation Mindset, Interpersonal Communication, Leadership, Presentation Skills, Self Development, Team Building and Trust.
